A letter

Hey!
…I went to Russia in october…
I had to leave very urgent…
now I`ve already fixed everything…
The bad thing is that…
I might not be able to enter this country in couple years from now…
It`s sounds horrible for me,but I don`t know what to do with it yet…
there are some good points about being back home….
I visited my parents and met all my friends…
I can see snow every day,it`s all over here so it`s a lot of fun…
I hope I won`t disappoint you with these news…
What`s new on SouthBeach?

Your Anna
from Russia with love:))

I miss Anna.

Scott’s Fancy Condiment Dogs

(Note: these are best enjoyed if you fall under Section XI. Code 218′s definition of a bachelor.)

So you’ve got some hot dogs. And some buns. And a fridge door full of condiments. Alright then.

Ingredients:

· Hm. Banana peppers. Those look pretty good.
· There’s that jar of minced garlic that’s never going to be used.
· Butter. Or I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter. Or something that has buttery-like qualities.

Directions:

1) Bust out the pan, put it on an eye of the stove over medium heat and throw in some butter. A big enough glob to fit on a dinner knife. Tablespoon, maybe two.
2) Put the two dogs in.
3) Stick some hotdog buns on some aluminum foil and broil them while you’re cooking your fancy condiment dogs.
4) Fork out some banana peppers.
5) Use the knife you used to get the butter out to get a small amount of the garlic. Just enough to cover the tip of the knife. Throw that in the pan.
6) Stir things around so the dogs brown kind of evenly. Flip the banana peppers as they’re cooking.
7) When everything is browned, pull it off the eye of the stove. Wait until buns are toasty brown. Throw everything in the buns.

Eat. Enjoy.

Dayami photoshoot

I’ve begun to upload photos from the shoot I had on Saturday afternoon with Dayami. Lots of photos to come over the coming days, week, month…

Bringing a wedding dress AND a suitcase full of clothes and shoes,  Dayami shot beautifully.   Of course, I think she could make a potato sack sexy; Dayami’s hot.

Hm.  I should try that.  Potato sack shoot.   View all photos tagged of Dayami in the Girls of Ipanemic gallery.

New video: South Beach, Paradise

South Beach, ParadiseThis video/slideshow is a compilation of photos I’ve taken (along with some powerful imagery contributed by DCVision – thank you, D) showing the side of life in South Beach and Miami that isn’t glamorous. The side that isn’t exotic cars, fashion models, a sexy nightlife. But it is South Beach. It is Miami.

This town… it is a tale of two cities:  the downtrodden in the lap of luxury,  poverty against the backdrop of paradise. All that glitters is not gold.

The video can be seen here. Turn your sound up.

Photos, videos on MySobe.com

MySobe.comI got a really nice email the other day from MySobe.com saying that they were using my photos in articles, on postcards and in videos on their site, and asked for my permission. Looked at the site and told them that, without question, it was fine. Photos from the street, photos of models, and even event photos with GES Models (formerly SoBe Darlings) are displayed on a cleanly laid-out, informative, and sexy site.  Really like the postcards and their videos are very sleek and well done.  “Street Life of SOBE”, “Freedom to be Yourself”, and “Sunset and Sunrise” (where most of my photos appear) have great soundtracks on them.  And their video “The Fever of SOBE” is a really sexy portrayal of South Beach featuring (naturally) mostly photos from the brilliant Miami Fever.

MySobe.com is part of a network of sites from an Italian company centered around http://www.alexis.it.  It’s a pleasure to have my photos there and I’m looking forward to seeing my photos used in that format. You’ll find a link to MySobe.com in my link list.

Everyday conversations

“Which boob should I put in the champagne glass,” she asks.
“Um….” And before I can answer, her right nipple, or at least part of it, is suction-cupped against the top of the flute. “Yeah, that one’s good,” I say.
