I’ve rewritten this a couple of times now. Because I actually had a couple of things I wanted to mention and I forgot the second one.
First thing…
I am running advertisements of sorts now. The advertisements currently appear as follows:
One appears under the first post on the main page of the blog section of this site.
One appears under the third post on the main page of the blog section of this site.
And sometimes they might sneak up on you! Like here! 
I may incorporate some randomization algorithm, maybe something funky like that. But I don’t know. I just know I want them here. As the layout changes, I’ll adjust placement. The ads aren’t really ads, though. They’re recommendations. Recommendations of sites that I enjoy and think that you would, too, based on the fact that you’re here. And that you’re still here after reading this. Sites or products or places or people.
If you’re on my notable links list, send me a graphic in any size (wide/tall/boxes) that you want and I’ll put you on here if you’d like. Otherwise, I’ll probably just get around to creating a graphic for you based around your site if that’s preferable.
Oh, too, I’ll be placing the ads based on content. Only model recommendations will go in the model sections unless you specify that you want to be in there. I can tell you that, quite obviously, that section of this site gets hit a lot more than the rest. Glad I do all this typing.
But you can choose to have the recommendation in street +/life too. Whichever. If you want.
The second thing…
If you’re interested in subtle (or even overt) advertising for your business… I can do that.
Yes, well, now that I’ve changed the layout, I need to figure out where I’m going to stick the “ads.” I’m thinking one in the main section of the front page, maybe two on the side. Then, I need to figure out where to put them on the interior.
